Landscape + Place
Tampa is oozing out history with nearly every twist and turn you can take. From Plant Hall's historic renovation date to Ybor City's historic cigar district, no matter where you are there is most likely a historic landmark close by. Even the simple brick roads you can find on numerous streets are rich with history. From the earliest being laid in 1915, most of the brick laid roads are now protected by the city due to their significance. I chose to shoot in a part of Tampa that had city-feel brick roads, and old-fashioned feel to the houses, but also had the contrast in deeply rooted Oak trees and other beautiful examples of nature.
